fashion show!!!!!!

this week was an exciting week because it was the fashion show!! while it was exciting it was also very busy but the show turned out so well in the end
Tuesday night went very well, my group was modelling #oasis:)) Wednesday night i think we were more prepared as we knew what was coming after tuesdays show.
my favourite acts were the irish dancers and the ballet dancers they were fab well done gallllsss X all the clothes were so nice aswell was a great night for st wolstans!!!
well done to all the models and to the realist bros aswell #no1models

all of the tys were also selling mini company on both nights, and my group, ignite candles did very well and sold loads of candless shoutout to molly and eve for selling on both nights X

our scents, christmas tree,vanilla and cinnamon.

Next week is our last week of our first work experience placement, i am sad to be leaving because i really like working with sean byrne but i have learnt alot and i am excited to start my next placement!!

this week was very exciting on tuesday we went to carton house to see the vanishing art exhibition which was very interesting, me saz c and saz p really enjoyed the sculptures i think saz c was very inspired

my favourite piece from the exhibition was the fairy by Emma Jane Rushworth. it was made in the medium of wire!!!:)))

i am modelling in the fashion show next week o ya with my group megz, meadhbh,saz p, chloe Q and rajajajajajaj, our shop is oasis and we are going to get fitted todayyyy

the show is on next tuesday and wednesday, all thr tys will be selling mini company at the event and there will be dancing and singing performances too!!!:))

week after midterm :))

midterm was very fun the most fun it was good to have a week off and i think everyone enjoyed it and had a very relaxing week:))

halloween was a great night too #squad

i didnt do much in work experience this week as my supervisor had to go to Galway last minute so i just tidied around the studio, I got to meet Cathy o Connor who is a stylist and talking to her was v fun she is so nice:)))

My work is just above Georges Arcade and there is always photoshoots happening on the street underneath because its prettyy 

there was one happening on wednesdays and the models looked amazing but also v cold 

i might be helping out with a photoshoot thats happening next week for the shop below my work cant wait o ya

im getting excited for christmas now i feel like christmas is starting so early this year

the lights are being turned on in grafton street next thursday we are all going to go in after school aw

halloween!

so we have finished our first term and it is finallyyy the laat week of school before midterm and i cant wait for halloween woooooohoo today is our dress up day and every year has a different theme, first years are witches and cats, second years are werewolves, third years pirates and tys zombies! fifth years are scary clowns and as always sixth years are harry potter:))) s/o to saz her costume and makeup is FAB XX

halloween is one of my favourite time of year  i love all the costumes and decorations! i am also looking forward too the week off wahoo

i loved my work experience this week i got to sit in on a photoshoot and helped make scarves for sean byrnes winter collection, i love my work so muchh and dont  want it to end:))

this week we are promoting positive mental health amongst young people by having a fundraising day called 'Walk in my Shoes' where everyone wears differernt kinds of shoes but we also changed it into a non uniform dayy which is loads of fun:)) everyone brought in two euro in order to raise money!
we have also developed more on our mini company idea this week me saz mollz eve and emer are making candles and they are going to be the most swag, i am in charge of production so i have to make sure every product is okay before it is sold.
we also found out about the fashion show organised by ms leonard will be taking place in the celbridge house in november so everyone is v excited to take part in that
not much more news for this week but i am excited for work exp next week!!!

work exp n fun walk!!

this week was very exciting as there was alot going on for the tys, we had anti bullying workshops on tuesday very fun and work experience on wednesday which i am enjoying v much also, i like going into town every week and my boss Sean is great, i have learnt so much already:))) i wish i could do this work exp placement for the whole year but i am working on getting my next placement at the moment too

since it was forecasted for bad weather on friday we had our fun walk on thursday which was so much fun, us tys were yellow my fave colour aw

my class, Ariel did under the sea for our dance and sazMc was a v good ariel well done Saz!!

Ms leonards mini company were the traffuic wardens for the walk and everybody did a great job,

Carlingford and work experience:))

Last week was the exciting week of carlingford wooo we started off early on monday morning where we got the bus at esso, it took about two hours to get to carlingford which i didnt know was actually a little village which was really cute aww

as soon as we got there we got sorted into our rooms, my room was great room 64 forevs xx We then got straight into the activities. first up we went rafting and even though i hated the wetsuits and the cold water it was really fun, after we got across the water we went into this cave thing where it was dark and a man poured freezing water on us which i didnt really like ehh

after that we had lunch and then did afternoon activities which were fun, we had some time to ourselves that evening and we got chinese mmm

the next morning we were up early to start our second day of activities and water sports was up first, the wetsuits were even more smelly than the last day ew but the canoeing was fun overall:)) we then went up into the mountains with teddy to do laser tag which was the best activity by far! 

by that time we were all exhausted and looking forward to going home, me and meadhbh had a lovely bus journery home where we slept for most of it shoutout to meadhbh she gave me fanta xx

overall i really enjoyed the carlingford trip!

This week was our first day of work experience which i was looking forward to, for the first term im working in Sean Byrne designs in town, the first day was very fun and i actually learnt alot of new things, he has another korean intern named sophia who is now my bestfriend aww, i was showed how to use a sewing machine qand he showed me some of his collection which was debuted in Brown Thomas last week, i had a break from 1 to 2 where i went and got nandos with sinead yum happy bday today Shinzo XX 

I am looking forward to work experience again next week!

Results Week!

This week we got our junior cert results on Wednesday! Overall it was a nerve-wrecking but exciting and fun week. The wait from monday until Wednesday morning felt like forever but before we knew it we were standing in our old class groups in the hall waiting for them envelopes. I was so nervous and when i recieved the envelope and I dint open it for a few minutes, it was so weird to think that the results of all my work done from first year to third year was in this one envelope.

Once I opened the envelope i was immediatley very pleased with my results, as were everyone else. That night we all went to the Wright Venue in Swords and had one of the best nights!

The day after we were all very tired and I had my first home-ec cooking class where i made chocolate chip cookies. i had never been in the home-ec kitchens before so it was al a new experience for me. The cookies turned out very well for beginnners!

Next monday we are all headed to Carlingford adventure centre, everyone is so excited and ready for the two days away in carlingford!

Overall results week was a week i wont be forgetting anytime soon.

First Week Back!

The first week of Ty has flown by,we started last 

Thursday when we were sorted into our class groups named after Disney Princesses! Ariel, Belle and Aurora. 

This Wednesday we had a fun day of workshops, etiquette where we learnt basic skills on how to dress for interviews and tips on how to walk in heels! First aid where we learnt CPR, how to bandage and how to put someone into the recovery position. Our third workshop was called a positive party where we had loads of fun learning about how to stay happy and have a positive outlook on life.

At the moment we are all nervous but at the same time excited to get our results next Wednesday!

Im nervous to see my results but excited for the night afterwards!
